  • [ ] Release date set at least 2 weeks out
  • [ ] All 150+ platforms selected (not just Spotify and Apple Music)
  • [ ] ISRC codes generated and saved
  • [ ] Metadata double-checked (artist name, track title, genre, credits)

Content & Assets

  • [ ] Cover artwork at 3000x3000px minimum
  • [ ] Artist bio updated on all platforms
  • [ ] Lyric video or visualizer ready
  • [ ] 3-5 short-form video clips for TikTok/Reels/Shorts
  • [ ] Press photos updated

Strategy & Planning

  • [ ] Release goals defined (streams, saves, playlist adds?)
  • [ ] Promotion budget set
  • [ ] Content calendar for release week planned
  • [ ] Playlist submission done (at least 1 week before release)
  • [ ] Collaborators and features confirmed and credited

Financial Tracking

  • [ ] Previous release ROI reviewed
  • [ ] Revenue expectations set (realistic, based on data)
  • [ ] Campaign budget allocated
  • [ ] Payment splits configured (if applicable)

Post-Release Plan

  • [ ] Analytics tracking set up
